Thanks But at least once Windows refuses to send any more data on the network, Wireshark no longer has a ton of re-transmits, but I do lose network connectivity because my machine will no longer send packets. I keep seeing all of these receive+retransmit pairs until Windows craps out for some reason and refuses to send any more packets, but will happily receive more. So I have some strange thing going on that Wireshark is showing when my WAN port is mirrored to my computer and my computer sees TCP packets for a MAC address that is not mine, it resends the TCP packet to my local gateway. ![]()
